Exercise Equipment: New Motion Machines: Full Range muscle movements

New Motion Machines have brought a new dimension to the workout through steady resistance on muscle groups that are not provided by free weight, cables or traditional machines. The science of Kinesiology which is the study of the mechanics of motion with respect to human anatomy provided the answer to getting a real work out that does not focus just on one muscle group, but enhances the exercise regiment to include all muscle groups. Medical science has taught us that muscles are designed to connect two parts and pull them closer. The construction of the human body muscular system is a marvel considering all of the functions this muscle system allows us to do on a daily basis without even thinking about it, such as pushing, pulling, walking, lifting and all the other movements we are capable of.
As muscle contracts over one joint, it moves the joint. The muscles that cross over more than just one joint, such as the biceps, triceps and quadriceps, are directly involved with the movement of more than one joint. New Motion Machines target those muscles and muscle groups by providing a constant resistance and a larger range of motion than can be achieved with free weights, cables, or traditional machines.
Cables, Free Weights and Traditional Machines
Cables redirect gravity and are dictated by the placement of the pulley system. Resistance will follow the line of the cable. Exercise with free weights is also controlled by gravity. The resistance is always directly down. An arc type movement is what the joints in the human body are designed to do. Gravity provides the most resistance as the body part moves or supports the weight. This weight will move perpendicular to the pull of gravity. For instance, a standing biceps curl causes the weight to hang by the side, giving no resistance to the biceps. As the curl of the arm begins, the resistance will increase to the point that the forearm is level with the floor. When the arm curls higher, the resistance will decrease until the top of the movement is reached and there will be little or no resistance of the biceps. Traditional machines use the same principles as cables and free weights and limit the muscle groups that can be worked at the same time.

New Motion Machines and consistent resistance
Muscles and muscle groups that cross over more than one joint are targeted by the New Motion Machines. As the muscle contracts, this machine provides a consistent resistance. This is accomplished through a larger range of motion from full extension all the way to full contraction using both joints to complete the motion. This method will activate muscle from both ends by using all attachments. Both joints will be in motion stimulating all mechanical neurological components. The machine creates an amazingly proficient and dynamic contraction.
Great Exercise for Geriatric Fitness
Many doctors who have been treating their patients for different types of arthritis recommend the New Motion Machine to return mobility and lessen pain for the patient. The New Motion Machine allows the joints to be exercised in a manner that does not unduly tax the already sore joints and provides a method of loosening up the cartilages in the joints without added medications. This more holistic approach to good health has been wonderful for individuals who are resistant to the different medications prescribed for various arthritis conditions.
Childhood Obesity reduced with New Motion Machines
Because several muscle groups are being worked at the same time, the amount of calories burned in a smaller amount of time rises. This is beneficial to children who have little energy to devote to a long workout. This type of exercise will add cardio-vascular fitness more quickly than other methods and this reduces the risk of heart problems as the child’s body copes with the extra poundage it was not designed to support. The more efficient calorie burn helps the obese lose weight and strengthen the vital organs that often start failing because of the extra weight.
